Overview
This position is Sign-on Bonus eligible. Experienced RNs with a minimum of 1 year of experience are eligible for a bonus of $10,000 for Full Time positions. In addition to the sign-on bonus, new teammates at Atrium Health are eligible for robust benefits packages and paid time off.
Founded in 1963, the physicians and support staff at Atrium Health Levine Children's Charlotte Pediatrics have cared for generations of residents in the Charlotte area and surrounding communities. With locations in SouthPark (Morrocroft), Matthews, Blakeney and Steele Creek, we strive to provide excellent care for our patients within their communities. We currently have 30 providers between all four locations and 11 at the South Park office. Our standards of care are based upon the recommendations from the American Academy of Pediatrics. Our board-certified physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants and staff work together to provide comprehensive care from birth through college. Our patients are always welcome to see the provider of their choice at their preferred location. We are open 6 days a week and close on major holidays. We are available to walk-ins for acute care needs during Saturday mornings at our Morrocroft- SouthPark location.
Job Summary
The RN Clinical Nurse I/Ambulatory provides professional nursing care through skillful assessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation in the ambulatory, outpatient, and Medical Group practice settings in accordance with policies and procedures under the supervision of the supervisor and manager. The RN Clinical Nurse I/Ambulatory will assist in maintaining a safe work environment and performs all related job responsibilities in a safe manner. Maintains clinical and professional competency as appropriate to the population of patients served.
Essential Functions
Work requires walking, standing, sitting, lifting, reaching, stooping, bending, pushing, and pulling. Must be able to lift and support the weight of 35 pounds in handling patients, medical equipment, and supplies. Must speak English in good, understandable terms. Intact sense of sight, hearing, smell, and touch. Finger dexterity. Critical thinking and ability to concentrate. Must be able to respond quickly to changes in patient and/or unit conditions. Physical Abilities Testing required.
