Physical Therapist

Overview

Responsible for patient evaluations, care planning, directing, and administering physical therapy modalities of treatment as prescribed by a licensed physician. The PT administers standardized tests and develops patients POC’s in an effort to facilitate development of gross motor skills, components of gait cycle and sensory motor processing.  Assists patients in reaching their maximum performance and level of functioning, while learning to live within the limits of their capabilities and ensures patient charges are accurate and submitted in a timely manner. Coordinates, delegates and supervises responsibilities assigned to support staff (PTA, OT /PT Aide, etc.) The Physical Therapist participates in operational aspects of the department, contributing to performance improvement and CQI activities.  

Requirements:
Bachelors, masters, or doctoral  degree in physical therapy
New graduates will be considered.
Georgia license.
