Job Summary

Oversees the direction, coordination, implementation, control, and completion of small (scope and budget) projects, while remaining aligned with strategy, commitments and goals of the organization. Maintains and controls all aspects of projects simultaneously, overseeing and coordinating all activities designed to complete the project on time and within budget. Serves as the internal team lead and primary contact for each assigned project.

Essential Functions

  • Helps define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
  • Defines tasks and required resources.
  • Creates project plans and implements projects.
  • Organizes, manages, supports and directs project team.
  • Creates and maintains budgets.
  • Creates schedules and project timelines and allocates project resources
  • Monitors and reports on project progress and tracks deliverables; communicates problems and solutions.
  • Leads quality assurance.
  • Implements and manages change when necessary to meet project outputs.
  • Manages and conducts project close out activities; evaluates and assess results of project.
  • Builds and foster internal relationships.
  • Leads problem solving and resolution efforts.


Physical Requirements
Works in a safe manner. Work requires frequent moving from one area to another, coordinating, and communicating with persons in various disciplines and agencies.

Education, Experience and Certifications

Bachelor's Degree required. 1 year of relevant project management experience including theoretical and practical knowledge of project management techniques and tools required. Budgeting and accounting experience required. Demonstrates use of effective communication skills, both written and verbal required. Advanced skills with computers and Microsoft applications including Excel required. Experience in strategic planning, risk management and/or change management required. Conflict resolution experience required.
