Overview
Shift: 8a-5p; 40hrs/wk.
This position is Sign-on Bonus eligible. Experienced RNs with a minimum of 1 year of experience are eligible for a bonus of $10,000 for Full Time positions, and $5,000 for Part Time positions. Atrium Health Allergy, Asthma & Immunology SouthPark is an allergy practice serving an average of three providers daily. We serve patients ranging from newborn to elderly and often have the privilege of serving families and children across the lifespan. Our practice has three primary service areas: provider focused support including skin testing and in-room procedures, food & drug challenges run by RN or LPN teammates and our allergy injection clinic run independently by a CMA or LPN teammate. Employment in our unit includes an extensive 6-week allergy-specific orientation to ensure your long term understanding and success on the unit. The ideal candidate for our team is a team player, interested in expanding their clinical knowledge/skillset and willing to work collaboratively with physicians, APPs, RNs, LPNs and CMAs to effectively support the needs of our unique patient population.
Job Summary
The RN Clinical Nurse I/Ambulatory provides professional nursing care through skillful assessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation in the ambulatory, outpatient, and Medical Group practice settings in accordance with policies and procedures under the supervision of the supervisor and manager. The RN Clinical Nurse I/Ambulatory will assist in maintaining a safe work environment and performs all related job responsibilities in a safe manner. Maintains clinical and professional competency as appropriate to the population of patients served.
Essential Functions
Work requires walking, standing, sitting, lifting, reaching, stooping, bending, pushing, and pulling. Must be able to lift and support the weight of 35 pounds in handling patients, medical equipment, and supplies. Must speak English in good, understandable terms. Intact sense of sight, hearing, smell, and touch. Finger dexterity. Critical thinking and ability to concentrate. Must be able to respond quickly to changes in patient and/or unit conditions. Physical Abilities Testing required.
