Overview
The Clinical Review Coordinator screens records and maintains electronic database for ease of retrieval of information, as well as processes records in need of Peer Review. This individual performs audits of medical records, abstracting data into web-and PC based registries in order to measure compliance with regulatory and accrediting agencies. The Clinical Review Coordinator works with nursing and ancillary staff members to educate and inform regarding clinical documentation requirements. He/she also presents results and data at relevant quality-related meetings.
Qualifications:
A. Education
1. Graduate of a School for Registered Professional Nurse
2. BSN preferred
B. Experience
1. Five or more years of clinical experience required
C. Licensure/Certification
1. Current RN license issued by the state of Georgia required
2. CPHQ preferred
