McKenzie, an Occupational Therapist at Atrium Health

After graduating and moving to Charlotte, McKenzie has grown to love her new city lifestyle, both in and outside of work. "I was fortunate enough to have fieldwork experience at Atrium Health Carolinas Medical Center while in OT school,” she says. “I had an amazing mentor and fell in love with Atrium Health. I knew I wanted to stay working for Atrium Health after my clinical rotation. I love getting to work in the region’s only Level I Trauma Center, while learning from a team of experienced OTs and PTs to mentor me as a new grad."

Eli, a Physical Therapist at Atrium Health

Eli enjoys hiking, fishing, paddle boarding and exploring the local greenways around Charlotte. "On my days off you can find me working on woodworking projects, hiking/backpacking or planning my next adventure with my wife,” he says. “Born and raised in Charlotte, one of the things I love most about our area is that we are so close to so much. At any given point, I'm a short drive from the mountains or beach and can always find an adventure not far from where we live."
