Senior Care/Geriatrics Physician in Charlotte, NC (15 mins from Charlotte International Airport)!
Atrium Health Senior Care is seeking a part time BE/BC Physician to join their growing team in Charlotte, NC. Ideal candidates will be board-certified in Geriatrics AND Family Medicine and/or Internal Medicine with prior Geriatrics experience preferred.
· Serve in the role of Medical Director of Jesse Helms Nursing Center in Monroe, NC.
· Provide primary care services for patients or residents in long-term care facilities in various counties in North Carolina (cross-cover colleagues).
· Precept Atrium Union Family Practice residents during their long-term care experience.
· Join current team of 7 physicians, 11 APP's & 1 APP Fellow
· Monday-Friday, 8:00 - 5:00pm
· Weekend call approximately 5-6 times a year and Monday -Thursday call 1 in every 11 days
· Excellent work culture & collegiality among providers and staff We are seeking a provider who is comfortable with work in the Post-Acute environment who has the adaptability to perform remote, virtual care of patients in similar spaces.
